My family and my photography are the most important things to me.
Just 10 months ago I set out to bring those two passions together.
I had no idea how I’ll do it, what will happen, when it will happen or who will be there on my journey. I decided to make the leap into uncertainty and go and find a way.
So for the last 10 months, I woke up at five o’clock every single morning to work on Instagram for hours a day.
The journey towards building my community, and business on Instagram was even more intense, demanding, and fraught with trial and error than I’d ever imagined, but little by little, I figured out how to bring value and grow.
Within a month of starting my account, I received my first new client through Instagram.
This week I hit 10K followers and today I am getting more photography bookings than I could handle with over 80% of my clients coming from Instagram.
When I first set-out, there were no reliable frameworks out there for a local photographer to build a real audience in an ethical way on Instagram, so I had to develop my own.
I’d set out to create a thriving photography business, but in the process, I ended up also creating an Instagram strategy that I’m excited to share with other entrepreneurs that I also work with.
THANK YOU for being there and supporting me, encouraging me and being part of my personal journey.
THANK you for being such an incredible community.
Excited to share and to work with you in 2019. ❤️
